My Name is Nicole Millard,
In 2006 I was diagnosed with Uterine Cancer at the age of 32 years of age and underwent major surgery and 6 weeks of radium and other treatment. During this time I was fortunate to have my husband and family members support me through this very stressful time with friends who also paid an important part in my recovery by providing meals, transport, doing household chores and looking after our children, our youngest son turned 2, four days after my surgery.

I feel very blessed that I have beaten cancer as it is now 8 years since I had surgery with excellent outcomes, I am able to be with my family and friends and have a great lifestyle.

Last year I was able to give my thanks to the health services and the community by fundraising for a cure for cancer, with the assistance and support by family and friends once again.

This year I’m planning to do this again, however, I need HELP. If anyone has any ideas or can help me in any way I would appreciate it very much.

Something that would be fantastic to me and maybe others is to get our own team together, riders and supporters.

I’m sure most of you would agree that we all have crossed paths with family and friends that has been affected with cancer, some with positive results and some with not.
